Description of the type of product
The plan is to develop a transnational and multi lingual QM Competence Center, which provides a virtual support landscape for education service providers in the form of a novel tool set of IT applications for sustainable quality development and quality assurance.
An essential element is the development of Competence Assessment & Management Tools.
Content and results of the product
The result will be a working and communication platform which can be retained and used also after the completion of the project.
Competence assessment & management tools enable the gathering and assessment of general, special and formal competences for teaching staff. The tools analyse the conformity between required and available competences for defined subjects.

Interest in quality management and quality assurance.
Transferability
General applicability for competitive oriented education service providers and students/trainees. Can be adapted to other education institutions. Can also be adjusted to specific forms of organisation, to specific contents, and to national peculiarities.
Availability
For the Competence Center a direct commercial usage is planned, which means that the focus of this dissemination activity is on the end user, without excluding other potential users. For reasons of sustainability though it is necessary to also provide supporting QM tools and QM information for both the end users and potential users on a transnational basis. A relevant marketing plan will be developed and submitted to the commission towards the end of the product development, in keeping with the general orientation.
