LEONARDO-Project „Transnational Quality Project – TQP-EU“ looks back on two years of co‑operation

On the 21st and 22nd of January the project partners met in Wuppertal, Germany for the final workshop in the former factory building of family Engels.

Nowadays the building is used as „art factory & hotel" and in this scale offered an ideal place for the event.

Although there was a wave of flu going on, almost all project partners managed to visit Wuppertal. 23 members from 5 countries discussed and deliberated on the project results and their further distribution. They all agreed on the inclusion of the products in their own work. The focus of the contributions and discussions were the improved QUALITY GUIDELINES international acting training companies and their foreign partners can use to improve the quality of their cooperation. For those guidelines comprehensive implementation assistance was compiled in a compendium. A to be produced compact disc shall increase the publicity and offers the main content „offline", which is also available online at www.leonardo-tqp.eu. The QUALITY GUIDELINES will be published in german and english language in the „impuls" publication series of the „Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training" (BiBB). The QUALITY GUIDELINES and the compendium will also be published in those two languages and additionally in polish, italian, spanish and catalan.

Another issue of the „impuls" series will be published in spring 2009. There, a sample of LEONARDO DA VINCI pilot projects will be introduced, among them the „Transnational Quality Partnerships - TQP-EU" project. The title of the publication will be „Innovations from Europe part II - Drawing a balance on the LEONARDO DA VINCI pilot projects".

Not only at the two days of the workshop but also in the two years of project work the time flew. Within this time not only productive labour relations but also friendly contacts and lots of intercultural competences grew. No end would be a good end - So old and new partners will join in two subsequent projects, where the distribution and enhancement of the QUALITY GUIDELINES as well as the development of a competence acquisition and assessement tool for teaching staff will be focused. Many of the new contacts to project partners were established in the course of the ISO committee 232 „Learning services for non-formal education and training„.
